Recently, Sunway held its “Celebrating the Journey, Embracing the Next Chapter” Milestone Sharing and Team Recognition Event.
From 9 to 10 September 2026, as an enterprise internally recommended by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Hongqiao International Central Legal Services District, Shanghai Sunway Law Firm travelled to Hong Kong to attend the 11th Belt and Road Summit, jointly organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. During the Summit, Sunway representatives attended the Opening Session, Roundtable on Shanghai-Hong Kong collaborating in Seizing Belt and Road Opportunities, Go Global Chapter, and a series of thematic breakout sessions—including the forum on legal innovation powering Belt and Road trade, legal infrastructure development and cross-border dispute resolution—and were also invited to the Cocktail Reception, engaging in exchanges with institutions, platforms and enterprises from Hong Kong and Belt and Road partner countries and regions.
From Sunway’s continued engagement in the Pakistani market to its joint research with the Pakistan Study Centre at Fudan University being selected for inclusion in Shanghai’s “Regional and Country Studies Research Reports”, Sunway’s long-term experience in supporting Chinese enterprises’ overseas expansion is gaining broader recognition across government and academia.
On 1 September, the outcome of the “Research Report on the Development of Pakistan’s New Energy Storage Industry”, jointly submitted by Sunway and the Pakistan Study Centre at Fudan University, was officially selected as an adopted research outcome for Shanghai’s “Regional and Country Studies Research Reports.” The report has since been officially published on the "Shanghai Enterprises Going Global Service Platform".
Recently, Xiaoli Hong, Managing Partner of Shanghai Sunway Law Firm, was selected into the "Dingxin" Legal Talent Pool of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice.
